Client: Liquor Rank

Commission: A logo design for the new official liquor rating system for Beverage Industry News Magazine in LA. Liquor Rank grades liquors from 80 to 100 points. This logo and rating number would be applied to liquor bottles, promotional ads, profiles and official awarding certificates.

Solution: After trying various shapes, fonts and colors, we landed on a gold star shape. We felt this would stand out as a bright and official seal of approval as well as stand the test of time. What better says winner than a gold star? It has a celebratory feel and and overall happy energy.
